cosRX : Cosmetics + Rx (Prescription) is a popular Korean Brand where their formula is targeted to fight against specific skin issues while bringing out positive results. This box in particular has been on sale through Memebox for awhile so I figured I’d finally do a quick unboxing while it’s still in stock.
Just a quick unboxing of what’s in Memebox’s cosRx Box!
Made with 96% natural snail mucin, this product is full of skin friendly nutrients that is meant to moisturize and transform troubled skin. Hydrating for the skin, this product also targets rejuvenation but, according to Wishtrend, has an interesting pH level of 6.90. Tad bit high but there are a lot of reviews out there and so far, I’ve incorporated this to my skincare routine and haven’t noticed any skin irritation or breakouts. It’s very lightweight and definitely one of my favorite ‘snail’ items out there.
2. COSRX – Summer Pore Minish Serum 100 ml ($15)
A BHA product to balance and keep Sebum production at bay. It’s also a gentle exfoliator to improve the appearance of the skin. It’s most beneficial for parts of the skin where blackheads are more-than-a-plenty. Definitely a deep pore cleanser and pore shrinker that is meant to keep skin smooth while reducing the production of excess sebum with a pH level of 7.00. Oh, whoa.
3. COSRX – Salicyclic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser Full-Size 150 ml ($11)
May I say that the pH level of this cleanser is at a high 9. A. NINE. (Wishtrend even rates it at a 9.54) Cosrx has already released a lower ph leveled cleanser so it’ll be interesting how that goes compared to its counterpart. But anywho, this cleanser is meant to help those with acne and to prevent future breakouts. It helps remove blackheads and whiteheads but I’m tempted to try it out and see how it goes.
4. COSRX – AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner Full-Size 150 ml ($14)
This product I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews from other beauty bloggers. It’s meant to smoothen and even the skins texture as a gentle exfoliator. The toner also cleanses with a non-sticky formula that allows the formula to hydrate and balance the skin. I personally like this toner and haven’t had any issues with this product so far. I usually apply this at night time and love this wayyy more than Skinfood’s peach sake toner (it dries my skin out even though it smells pretty good 😦 ..darn.. ).
5. COSRX – Blackhead Silk FingerBall 12 pcs ($5.50)
Formulated from 100% natural silk, this beauty tool is used to gently exfoliate the skin. It’s good tool that removes excess blackheads and sebum while creating healthy and clearer looking skin.
I’ll be experimenting more with cosRx and using it more often to see if I notice any results for the month of November. I prefer to switch up my skincare routine with different things but I’ll see how my skin likes cosRx.
If you tried anything from cosRx, especially these products in particular, what were your experiences like? Good? Bad? In between? Results?
